Stayed at Castle at Maui Banyan recently. The biggest positives are the affordable price and the great location — it’s very close to the beach and convenient for restaurants and shops nearby. However, cleanliness was a major issue during the stay. There were a lot of bugs around the property, including in common areas and inside the room. The room also did not feel properly cleaned, which made the experience uncomfortable. Good option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place in a prime location, but the property really needs better cleaning and pest control.
