We could not check in to this hotel as there is no front desk as indicated on their advertising platform. We actually wondered if this was the hotel as the grounds were unkept and frankly it looks abandoned, We finally spoke to an individual who suggested we call the number on the sign, called several times and messaged a couple of times as well, waited 45 minutes for someone to respond to our messages. We ultimately had to book another hotel in a different town and missed our dinner reservations. After we checked into the other hotel I was able to check our emails. We were travelling and unable to check emails, there was one from the hotel operator indicating there is a number of lockboxes with our room key and room number. They also asked us to send a picture of our documents to them to satisfy the Italian room requirements, this is a red flag. It was a huge disappointment. Although we were very happy where we ended up staying in Neuro, had a wonderful dinner. We have requested a full refund and are waiting for confirmation.

We arrived by bicycle to see all the steps. Thankfully I had booked the room at the gates that was a stable. Had everything we needed including a great internet for our cycle tour planning. The bikes were locked up in the garden right by our door. Had a great meal at Grad Evole in the main street.
