Liked the view from the resort. It seems like an old resort but they maintained it very well. Clean and recommend others too

Casanova is a top location, with great views! There is an internal pool & SPA and also an external pool. By car you can reach any location in Valle San D’Orcia. Staff is very kind. Very clean rooms!

I had five options to choose from when looking for a place to stay, and I was lucky to have ultimately decided on this hotel. The location is very convenient, and the backyard overlooks the Orcia Valley, offering unbeatable views.

The hotel is beautiful, has a great pool/outdoor terrace areas, and outdoor seating areas outside each room. Hubby would’ve LOVED to take advantage of the sauna & hot tubs, but not for an extra €30 per day??!! Insanity. What’s more, we never saw anyone using them, so what’s the point of then being there?! The receptionist we checked in with gave us no information on how to operate the AC (or that a remote is required which you must get from reception) and that it shuts off if you open a door/window! The room layouts are not ideal- the bedroom AND bathroom was a loft style, requiring climbing a flight of about 10 steps. Not enough space for luggage, we had to use the couch to lay suitcases out. The TV is downstairs rather than mounted on a wall in the loft area to enjoy in bed. I’m probably too spoiled by hotels in the States. Cleaning staff refreshed the room every day which was nice. Breakfast attendant was very sweet & helpful. I’d pick somewhere else next time.
