Casa Verde

It was a very last minute booking, and there was not much availability around the area, so we had zero expectations but... The property description is a whole joke: 1) Check-in from 11am, Check-out till 12pm, Check-in till 1pm, yes I didn't confuse the time shared on their property profile page 2) They promote a visit to the Siargao airport (really? Lol) - but Burgos is probably the farther location on the island from/to the airport 3) There are ZERO in-house facilities - in fact as you can see from one of their profile pictures, it's just a block of concrete with a few very tiny rooms to rent, nothing else included 4) You read 24h front desk but in fact there's no reception and you must call them to arrange to check-in - When we arrived we tried to call and text them but there was no answer. Then we decided to go to the beach and managed to schedule a check-in few hours later. 4) What they call "5 Stars property", could barely receive 1 Star from any jury. What else? 1) The room and bathroom are two tiny ovens and while the air-conditioning its only get your room cold if you keep it on at all time, you will need to close the bathroom window and find a way to keep it's door open if you are not interested in having a real sauna "in-house" (yeah maybe that's what they could offer legitimately). 2) The Air-condition is super noisy and not very efficient. You will need to keep it on at all times and use cancel-noise earbuds unless you can stand the constant noise in the room. 3) The WiFi is not working. Devices can finely connect to both lines but then you'll have no internet anyway, and mobile data cellular is not strong in the room, so you might need to go outside if needed a stronger connection (like a phone call). My gf thought her phone was finely connected and run-out of all her mobile data because in reality she wasn't. 4) The toiletry was so funny: I've never seen a smallest piece of soap in my life. Not sufficient even for the only night we stayed there, and probably even cheaper than the plastic wrapping it. FYI - My GF and I stayed in room 3 while our friends in room 1, same issues in both rooms.

The room was clean and has heater for coffee or any hot beverages. The only issue we encountered was that their shower was not working. All in all, the experience was great. The staffs were also kind and understanding.
