Casa SOBE

We had an amazing stay at Casa Sobe! The hotel is new, and we actually watched it being renovated last year. We always stay in this area, so we were excited to try it. The hotel is simple, it is more like an apartment complex, but nice. Our room was spacious and clean, and had everything we need: a big comfortable bed, a spacious area with hangers and mirror, a refrigerator, a safe, a steamer for clothes, a coffee corner, and beach towels, a sofa. We were lucky to have one of the best rooms with a large balcony, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. It was really comfortable! I’ve read the reviews and was surprised that people complained that their room had almost nothing, no mirror or hangers or iron, it was loud and they could hear the elevator. The design was too simple. We had no complaints. Our room had white walls, but nice wooden furniture and couple prints on the walls, we liked it. Not sure what people expect from this type of the hotel at that price. We stayed in different hotels at Collins Ave, and they are all about the same, unless you stay in Hayatt or front line luxury hotels. We were also able to check in early, which was a huge plus. Since the hotel doesn’t have a reception, we received our access code in advance and had no issues getting into the hotel or our room throughout our stay. Communication was easy. The location is perfect. The beach and the hotel’s sunbeds are just about a 5-minute straight walk, which was very convenient. Yes, it can be a little loud outside, but the hotel is on Collins Ave, so some evening noise is expected in this area. It didn’t bother us much. Overall, it was a perfect stay. We really enjoyed Casa Sobe and will definitely be back!

Check-In is a little clunky since it's all digital and depending on which site you book through, the hotel may not have a way to contact you with check-in instructions, but they'll help you at the gate. Other than that this is a great place to stay, the rooms are very clean and modern. Modern. It is close to everything! One block to the beach and tons to do within a five block radius on Washington and Collins avenue. Was only staying for 1 and 1/2 days before a cruise, but are considering coming back. Been spending more time in the area now.
