Not to be a negative Nelly, but despite Casa de Nelly's good location and relaxed atmosphere, the price was too high, given what we got. Many reviews mention breakfast, but that is no longer provided. Not even coffee available in the morning. The kitchen lacked most of what you'd need to prepare meals on your own. Very "basic" - not even "little" amenities like a wastebasket in the room. Room light was glaring and unpleasant. Payment is in cash only. Compared to other places we've stayed during our three weeks in Ecuador, it seemed overpriced; had it been 30-40% lower, we'd feel happier about our stay there. By the way, we loved our two days on San Cristóbal, a friendly place with tasty food, fascinating stories of island life, and of course the remarkable fauna of the Galápagos.
