    An overall bad experience. We never recieved communication about check in. We we're told we couldn't check in until 2pm when we arrived. Communication later showed checking was 1pm. No big deal. However when we got inside, the air con didn't work. We were told to try and book somewhere else. No offer of another room despite their being vacancy. The room was no cleaned properly. Hair on the bed and urine on the toilet and floor. When raised with reception, this was brushed off as her hair on the bed and 'just water' - despite it clearly being a yellow colour. When asked for it to be cleaned, she reluctantly did so then slamed the door as she left. Our replacement towels we're dirty. Hair throughout kitchen and bathroom also. We were offer free SUP hire for the No aircon however noone was at reception when we tried to book. A disappointing experience overall and we will not be returning.

    What a gem of a place! located on the river- morning kayak or sup a must. 5 minute walk to hasting st/beach Heated swimming pool with shower Great rooms Can’t ask for more, will be staying here again!
