    We loved our stay at the Caravelle. It was a lovely room with everything we needed. The bathroom was great with seperate shower, toilet, basin areas. Lots of storage and coffee/tea facilities with water filter on every floor. The location was absolutely sensational and made our stay better… so central! We had a great view too from the 20th floor. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of food & very friendly staff. The cafe and tapas lounge was excellent to relax in and have a quick drink or light snack. I would highly recommend the Caravelle and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

    We checked into Caravelle Saigon on 11 September today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, particularly because of our interaction with Nhan Front Desk Person We had travelled a long way and were extremely exhausted, so we had requested an early check-in. We completely understand that early check-in is subject to availability, and we were prepared to wait if a room was not available. However, the way Nhan handled the situation was extremely disappointing. He was cold, rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional, rather than showing even basic courtesy and understanding towards exhausted guests. What made the situation even more concerning was that our stay had already been fully paid for in advance, yet Nhan asked us for our credit card detaiils. We did not understand why our card information was required when the booking had already been completely settled and all payment completed.The manner in which this was handled left us feeling pressured and as though we were being asked for money unnecessarily. This is absolutely not the level of hospitality we expected from a hotel with the reputation of Caravelle Saigon. Even if an early check-in cannot be accommodated, guests should still be treated with basic courtesy, professionalism, polite and respect. We also want to be transparent that we have a significant social media following and regularly share our travel experiences online. We would prefer to resolve this matter directly and privately with the hotel, but if our concerns are not appropriately addressed, we may share our experience publicly so that other travellers can make an informed decision. We hope management will take this complaint seriously and respond promptly. Unfortunately, our first experience with the hotel was so unpleasant that we would not recommend Caravelle Saigon to anyone. We sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and investigates our interaction with Nhan.
