The stay offered excellent location convenience paired with clean and well-maintained facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi and consistently hot water. The bathrooms were tidy and comfortable, contributing to restful sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. It has everything you could ask for from a capsule hotel.

Close to JR Yamanote Line Otsuka Station which will take you to all major train stops including Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, etc. Clean rooms with good service. Not terribly crowded. Highly recommended for travelers.

This place seems to be preferred by local Japanese people because I saw many Japanese here. However, I can't recommend this place for non-Japanese. I was very surprised to find many Japanese travelers here because from reading their Agoda reviews, you'd expect Japanese people have much higher standard for lodging than foreign tourists. Besides the location, I don't know why Japanese would prefer to stay here because this place scored the lowest for me in cleanliness, facilities, and extra charge. Details below. The GOOD: Location. Very close to the Otsuka Station, 5 mins walk. McD downstairs and Matsuya nearby. The BAD: 1) DIRTY. When I checked in, my sheet and pillow case were new but had stains on them. When I pulled the cover, I saw the mattress had stains also. This is why I don't understand why Japanese person would want to stay here over other options. 2) FACILITIES: First, the whole place looks and smells old when you walk in. This place needs serious renovation. The worst is, there is no separate shower facility on your floor. To take a shower, you have to first go to 4th floor (Check-in) to get bath clothing, then go up to 8th floor's traditional "group bath" room. 8th floor is basically a public bathhouse where you have Sauna, showers (x2), sit-down wash areas, and a large, common hot tub. I didn't particularly enjoy the experience because I'd rather take a quick shower on the same floor than go through the hoop. The public bath is the only way to take a shower. Also the locker with key where you can store your valuables is not near your capsule. You have to go down to 4th Floor to use the locker. In addition, the capsule itself looks old and run down. 3) BAG STORAGE CHARGE: In Japan, one has to check out by 10AM but can't check in to another hotel until 3PM. So most travelers leave their bag or luggage at the checking out hotel for a few hours, to pick up later. Every place I've stayed lets you leave your bag free for a few hours (at your own risk), but this hotel doesn't. Instead, they charge you 1000 Yen to keep it. FYI, you can put your bag in a subway station locker for 700 Yen or less, depending on the size. I thought this bag charge was unnecessary. 4) STAFF: From check-in to check-out, the reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Yes, they do their job but a little smile and friendliness can go a long way to make tired travelers feel welcome. It's nice that they have live people instead of a kiosk with a tablet but the whole staff needs to be retrained on Customer Service. 5) AREA: There are a few eateries near but this neighborhood felt more like a residential area. There's not much to do or see in the vicinity and the restaurant options are meager. It's a rather boring area to stay at. For the reasons above, I cannot recommend this hotel to foreign travelers because for same or lower price, there are plenty of other lodging options. I will never ever stay here again.
