I've stayed at the Browns Plains Hotel many times now as I travel frequently between Qld and NSW. I've always found the beds to be clean and comfortable. Water pressure and hot water plentiful. Toiletries provided. Great outlook from room out window to bushland behind the rooms. There is enough cutlery and crockery (and microwave) to be able to eat in room, however I highly recommend the Browns Plains tavern. Proper pub food done well and there are always specials, so good value. Staff are always friendly and helpful. A couple of times there's been an issue (non working microwave, no milk in bar fridge). Staff rectified straight away without drama. The accommodation is set back from the road so traffic noise is not noticeable. You will occasionally get an interesting situation (opened the door one morning to find cop cars outside and they were raiding the room next door - but they were very quiet about it which I appreciated 😂). I've never felt unsafe there as a female, everything is well lit between the tavern and the rooms and parking is out the front of the room (except rooms 1 &2, then its first come, first served sort of vibe. Plenty of parking nearby though) Close proximity to every conceivable shop you could want - massive shopping centre across the road, fast food within walking. It's my go to place to stay when travelling this route.

Only booked accommodation for one night expecting to book our next stop closer to the city but we found the staff at this facility so helpful we stayed a extra night and bused into Brisbane. A special thank you to manager Adam who went out of his way to help us.
And the food was absolutely first class...the best we have had since leaving Sydney a week ago. Recommended for sure.

We found this hotel to be very conveniently located. The cleanliness could have been better, I had to clean the microwave so I could use it and floors hadn't been vacuumed. Would suggest supplying teatowel, cloth and detergent so that the crockery could be washed properly. Overall was satisfactory and would return.
