Convenient location. The thing with Kochi is that the main JR station is about 800m from the station, so 500m from JR station could ended up you being 1.3M or 300m from the shopping / buzzling area. Hotel Bright Park is almost right in the middle between the station and buzzling central. The weekend market happens right in front of the hotel (lined with palm trees). Price wise this hotel could be expensive because the price fluctuates greatly with demand. But room is huge though with Lawson just across the hotel. My 2nd stay in this hotel.

The hygiene situation in the room was unacceptable.
Visible mold, dusty corners, and an overall unclean feel made the stay very uncomfortable.
I would rate the cleanliness just one star, if not less.
The facilities are also outdated and in desperate need of renovation.
On the positive side, the female front desk staff were excellent — friendly, polite, and attentive. Their professionalism stood in stark contrast to the condition of the room.
Some other staff interactions lacked the same warmth, but the kindness of the women at the front desk was the only redeeming factor of the stay.
Sadly, unless major improvements are made, I wouldn't recommend this property to others.
