Couldn’t fault the staff or the facilities. Really comfy beds, the best shower I have ever come across and great food.
Would recommend booking directly as the hotel didn’t have our phone number - they wanted to get in touch with us before we went to warn us of 2 noisy Christmas parties happening. The first party did affect us but the staff went out of their way and moved us into a room as far away from the noise as possible the next night at no extra cost.
Nothing was too much for them.
The hotel is in the centre of the island and very convenient for Bowmore. There is a shop and petrol pump across the road. I got to go for a lovely walk in woods very close by.
I would definitely go there again.

We had a decent stay overall. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere of the place was quite nice. The garden was lovely and added a peaceful touch to the experience.
The female manager with short hair was very nice and helpful – she was definitely a highlight of the service.
That said, there were a few issues. The bathroom was very small, and the bathtub was quite slippery, so you have to be careful when showering. The ceiling also had some mold, and parts of the plaster were starting to peel – this really needs attention.
Overall, we felt the place was overpriced for what it offers. While the vibe is pleasant, it simply didn’t feel worth the money.

A lovely traditional hotel with good sized rooms. The bathroom was in need of maintenance but everything else made up for it. The staff were all very nice and the meals great.
