    A satisfactory hotel at a reasonable price in London and free parking Overall a good stay, the one downside was a Chinese lady working at breakfast, I have never come across anyone so ignorant or unhelpful at a hotel, she will cost you custom, she upset about 6 people at Saturday breakfast alone, she needs customer service training

    We are frequent visitors to this hotel as we have family which live nearby, unfortunately they don't have room for us. Never had issues before. Anyway, we arrived after check-in time, our double room wasn't ready. We were 'upgraded' to a King room, this turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The lift wasn't working (this room on top floor) the king bed was squeezed into a double room. The wall mounted headboard didn't fit the bed - it was miles too short. The bedside lights were still fitted for a double size bed, meaning the switch and light were right above the mattress. For context, I hit my head on this light 3 times - it was metal with really sharp corners, the light switch were right behind the pillows and got turned on during sleep movement in the night, culminating in abrupt awakening and head hitting on the light. The shower leaked through the shower screen causing us to use a towel to mop up the water (had to ask for an extra towel as there was only one in the room), this in itself highlighted cleanliness issues as the towel came up covered in long thick black hair, i have short hair, wife is blonde. We went downstairs and explained the issue, one of the staff members came up and I showed them the problems. We were moved to another room - this was very nice, we had no issues with this room. So yeh, we had a right mixed bag.
