    Here’s a cleaner, smoother rewrite of your review—kept all your points, just made it flow nicer and a little more polished: The room was pretty average—nothing special. The bed had a bare, old spring mattress with no pillow top or any real comfort. The bathroom felt outdated, dark, and poorly lit. The front desk staff member (I believe her name was Pamela or Joanne) was rude when I called about the mobile check-in process. I was hopping from one hotel to another and simply asked if I could just park for a couple of hours (around 2–4) so I could go lay on the beach. She immediately said early check-in was $20. I wasn’t asking to check in early—just to park. I said okay, I didn’t want to pay $20 just for parking. I ended up paying $10 to park out front and went inside to leave my card for the security deposit. She then asked if I wanted to check in early. When I said no, I’d already paid for parking and was heading to the beach, she replied, “Oh well, I would have let you park here…” which was the complete opposite of what she told me on the phone and was never offered to me. Also, the elevators are horrible—they take a solid five minutes to show up. I’d definitely pay a little more to stay somewhere else next time. Recommendations: Canalside Inn was so cute though

    This place is a no brainer plus comes with FREE PARKING! which is impossible to find in that area. We will be back! A+ across the board. Job well done.
