Not bad accomodation. Would personally prefer a slightly softer mattress instead of a hard one. Easy to check in after hours.

Great value accommodation for all inc families.
Conveniently located in the heart of Hamilton and about 30 min to Grampians national park.
Has shops, cafes, restaurants, police station etc near by.
Room and facilities were clean with doors fitted with smart lock enabling self-serving check-in/check-out for convenience.

We were very disappointed with the room (15) at the Botanical Motel. Firstly, the door had to be pushed very hard to get it opened, then, slammed extremely hard to close it. On our first evening we had no hot water, but as it was being repaired we overlooked that....by Sunday morning during the first shower the water temperature decreased quite considerably. The air conditioner worked only on 2 nights, failed completely during Saturday evening, along with the approx 5mm gap in the window/s letting in wind and cold. The bedside lamps need urgent attention before someone gets electrocuted. There is mould in the shower alcove. Following the impending failure of the hot water we decided to cut short the stay at this Motel and return home. We wish you all the best for the future, however, we will not ever return to the Botanical Motel, and will advise any family and friends who travel to Hamilton not to use this Motel.
