    Comfy bed space. Not cramped like you would think a capsule would be. Would be nice if there was someplace to sit in sleeping area but there are none. Just your bed space. And there didn’t seem to be any drinking water fountains around. The books were cool though.

    Booked it to experience a capsule hotel in Tokyo. The actual hotel is much more ‘tired’ than what you see in the pictures when booking it. I was hoping to see a modern hip place but it felt like an old musty bookstore. The locker configuration is such that it won’t accommodate modern luggage (of any size really). There was a strong smell of dust and something else in the room. The bedding and towels were clean though. The sockets in my pod were broken. One good thing is that the pods are facing a book shelf rather than a row of other pods. However, this room is really in need of a proper deep clean. Bathrooms/showers were fine and there were various toiletries available. The staff are very helpful, professional and fluent in English.
