    We took the opportunity to book Bodmin jail hotel to tie in with the Eden sessions we had booked for the following day. The hotel is gorgeous, quirky, mysterious, luxurious...we absolutely loved it. 5 star cleanliness, staff are amazing, food was outstanding. The history of the building was mindblowing, we also done the museum tour and would 100% recommend adding this to your stay. Our room (305) was in the civil wing and was stunning. The location is perfect if you are visiting the area for a particular reason but equally it is a total experience if you just fancy a totally different luxurious night away. 100% would recommend.

    A little on the expensive side. But a weirdly interesting experience.only stayed one night.It was as much as my budget would allow.Never the less we were made to feel very very welcome. The Jail Musuem on site next to the hotel must not be missed.It is really extraordinary.

    This stylise conversion of Bodmin jail is worth visiting the area for alone. The surrounding streets are rather tired and uninspiring, but then once you are in the hotel you wont want to leave. Great beds, gorgeous bathrooms with robes, lovely products and a fridge filled with free non alcoholic drinks. Everything has been carefully chosen, I couldn't find anything I would have changed. If there is a negative its that there is no coffee machine just instant coffee, but who cares when everything else is just perfect. Breakfast pancakes are the best I have ever eaten and food generally is fabulous and reasonably priced
