    A lovely cosy art deco pub.

    This is an excellent place and good value. Clean and simple design and perfect if you need to be in the area or just close to the city (just across the bridge). The facilities are limited as it is pub accommodation. But this doesnt detract from the positives.

    Let me start with the good things: The pub under the rooms is fun they have good food and you dont hear them from the rooms The location is next to a great view of Sydney in general and quite well connected The bad: The rooms are small and with no decoration making it look like swedish prison. The windows are not insulated so get ready to wake up at 5am with every bird in Sydney local area. Showers and toilet are shared but could be heard through the hall and you can be easily woken up early or late depending on your schedule. The terrace that is in promotional pictures is closed indefinetly so dont really get excited about that option. To be honest it should be taken off the promo material. My main concern is with wifi. You can get it sparringly through the day in the room and then sparringly if you take your notebook down to the bar. I think this is something that bothered me most as the manager said they will do nothing about it and thats just how it is. Conclusion: If you like a low budget stay and dont plan on being on hotel except to shower and sleep this might be the one. If you care about the accomodation maybe would look around for a little bit longer
