    I wanted to love this place, but…. The good: Lovely women behind the desk. Cheapest mini bar pricing ever! A can of Chang beer for 70 baht! So welcome after a long day and night of travel. Very easy walk to Ao Nam Mao pier, where I caught a speedboat to Koh Ngai and there are ferries and speedboats to other islands like Koh Lanta, and longboats to Railay Beach. Pool is a bonus and I enjoyed a swim before breakfast. The bad: I arrived late thanks to a delayed flight and was able to check in but then the desk was abandoned and there was literally no one around. It was 23:00 and there was no sign of a guest or hotel employee. It was a bit eerie. Breakfast was ok but not for 350baht. The ‘beach’ is not for swimming and looks more like a mudflat. The photos make it look a lot better than it is. Not enough beds or seats by the pool, only 4 beds facing the sea. The ugly: The noise from the road, on which the hotel sits, is bad. I was awake when the tuktuks and scooters started in the morning, about 6, and several times at night. There is just no way to fix this and it is bad! If you have one of the rooms that is not along the road it may be better, I had a garden view which was actually a view of the roof of the pool side rooms, and the entrance to the room was on the road side.

    Blue orchid was the perfect stay that we could get in Krabi. It's not too far from Ao Nang, and had an amazing view. Property is well maintained and staff is very helpful and nice. We had a great time!

    The place is good, but not worth staying as it is far away from Ao nang beach street. There are no food options around the hotel and at hotel. The beach infront of the hotel cannot be used to swim. The worst was the staff. Very bad experience with them. Very rude and also charged a late check out fee as we delayed by half hour they charged 500 baht which was not mentioned anywhere in their policies and was not communicated to us. Inspite of telling them we had a flight to catch hence would take half hour more to pack. Plus the manager argued with us in loud voice and rude tone. Not worth the experience at all. The room is also extremely small.
