Best Motel

Let's not kid ourselves about what this is: it's a motel on Aurora Ave (aka "Hooker Highway", as the locals call it). Which means that some parts of the area can be kinda sketchy. It also means that the facility itself is very plain - there is no gym, conference room, work space area, pool or jacuzzi, or any other amenity you'd expect to find in a hotel. Because it's not a hotel. It's a motel. This is a straight-forward, no-frills establishment where you'll find clean rooms, hot running water, basic cable TV, and a staff that cares deeply about your experience. Gotta a question at 2am? Call the front desk, they'll likely answer with a smile and give you an immediate solution. There is a front gate that keeps the sins of the street off of the premises. When you check in, there are multiple reminders that illicit activity will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave if caught engaging in such activities. There's literally a paper plaque in your room that explains all of the rules to you (again). So rest assured, you're in good hands. Also, for those who actually explore the area, you quickly realize that it's relatively safe - there's a Sprouts Market nearby for chrissakes. I highly recommend this establishment. The staff alone is worth the gold star.

Clean, comfortable and Joy was very nice to deal with

not a great property in a not good location. strange layout. no outlet in the bathroom. no mirror at the external sink. very noisy a/c.

My sink didn’t work so I had to brush my teeth in the bathtub. Also bathtub did not have a plug.
