We absolutely loved our stay at Beijing Lezai Nanluo Courtyard Hotel. It ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our time in Beijing.
The hotel itself is beautiful — a peaceful, thoughtfully designed oasis tucked into the hutongs. After long, hot days exploring Beijing, we genuinely looked forward to coming back, relaxing in the lounge or on the rooftop, and enjoying the quiet atmosphere.
What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Alice and the entire team were incredibly warm, kind and helpful throughout our visit. From helping us with reservations and transportation to serving tea, fruit and snacks when we returned, they made us feel genuinely cared for. The service felt personal rather than formal, which made the hotel feel almost like a home in Beijing.
Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, and the location gave us a chance to experience everyday life in the hutongs while still being close to many of Beijing’s major sights.
If we return to Beijing, we would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something intimate, peaceful and full of character rather than a large, anonymous hotel.

This is a nice place to experience the hutong lifestyle. The hotel warmly catered nice breakfast and tea break daily. Walking distance to 鼓楼和什刹海。

Had a really pleasant stay here. The Hutong hotel is beautifully designed with a nice courtyard, a roof top deck where you can enjoy a complementary afternoon tea away from the busy nanluo street. While the room is small and a little dated, the toilet is huge with a nice tub and the warm service, good breakfast and environment more than made up for it. The staff are bilingual and they go out of their way to Book didi. Laundry was sent to room . You may get occasional grumble from didi drivers because they need to navigate narrow lane. Highly recommend if you intend to experience hutong stay.
