Clean room and linen, a fantastic view, very good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Special mention must be made of the rich breakfast, featuring local ingredients; everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Access is not difficult, despite the property being located on a hill. However, if you have a large piece of luggage (e.g. 20 kg), you will need the assistance of a porter to carry it along the cobblestone road. There is usually a porter available at the entrance to the castle.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bastione Malvasia Hotel for 2 nights in July and really enjoyed or stay. The hotel is located in the further east point of Monemvasia so the view is exceptional. I would highly suggest not bringing luggage with wheels as it is about a 10-12 minute walk from the castle entrance. In my opinion it is quite pricey, however the location and staff make up for it. The breakfast was very good and we would visit again!
