Barefoot Beach Resort

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Loren went above and beyond to make sure we had information about the area to make our stay the best it could be! Condo was clean and just what we needed.

Good establishment located a few steps from the beach, the apartments are renovated, they are comfortable, clean and sufficient to spend a pleasant holiday. Yes, I recommend this establishment.

The apartment was so much more than we expected. Larger than we thought and so clean and tidy. Everything you need was included in or condo, beach chairs sun umberella and only a 5 min walk accross the road to beach. The pool area is beautiful. You can fish from the pier too or just sit and relax and watch the boats go by or dolphin watch. The whole area is well kept and tidy. There is laundry areas too and gas bbq's We were joind by friend for dinner and we had to leave our car parked with permit clearly shown and go with them in their car as your only allowed 1 parking permit so we couldn't leave both cars and go for a walk. YOUR ONLY ALLOWED 1 PARKING PLACE so if your with friends or meet up in 2 cars you only park 1 car. Or you get towed if no permit is displayed. AND we were charged $29 for amenity fees she said because we booked through another vendor ( agoda). It's cheaper to book via a 3rd party (agoda) rather than direct from their own barefoot website. We saved $50 a night. When we got into condo there was everything we needed. Pots pans coffee machine kettle towels toilet roll 2 dishwasher tabs laundry powder and dish washing liquid Even or fridge freezer dispensed ice... The bed was super comfortable and the overhead fan in bedroom was a god send in the heat. All in we will definately go back making it or 1st choice of place to stay plenty places close by for brefastfast lunches and dinners. We loved it.

The location was great. Indian Shore us a beautiful community. We will definitely stay in the area again, but not at Barefoot Resorts. The condo was spacious but very dated. I felt like I walked back into yhe 90s. Upon sitting on yhe sofa, I began to itch. This happened again and so my wife and I went to Walgreens for cleaning supplies. It didn't help much as whatever is wrong with the couch is embedded. The room also had an old rocking chair, which had dust all along the bottom. The bedskirt was dirty and hadn't been changed in awhile. Whenever we showered, sneezing and a runny nose would form. It would go away after 10 minutes or so. Strange. The wall hangings had obvious signs of aging. We went to swim in the pool and came out of the water with women's hair on me. I also witnessed a guest open her water bottle and threw the contents of it in the pool. Maybe their other condos aren't like this but based on our experience, we will choose another condo the next time. I wish that I could upload photos to this review.
