There’s a gentleman at the reception known as Antwone. He was so helpful and completely amazing. Went out of his way to assist with our lost bags and all from the airport. Happy we met him

This is not a 5-star resort. It feels like 3-star at best. Not worth the money they ask you to pay.
Pool is nice. That’s about it.
Door lock broken. Wasn’t fixed during my time there. Lucky nothing was stolen.
Gym. Small and no aircon.
Food. Breakfast is good. Rest of food is not. Don’t order room service please.
Room. I had to argue with them to give me the room I originally booked.
Service. Don’t get me started. You’d expect more from a “5-star” resort. Staff with attitude who don’t want to solve your problems.

We had a great time in Barcelo. Room is spacious with a big comfy bed. Large smart TV in front of the bed. Highlight was the balcony with the view on the infinity pool and the sea . Would recommend staying here when visiting praia. The on site restaurant was a bit of a let down with the one on the beach next door being better.

The best hotel in Praia.
During my vacation to CV this summer, we stayed at Barcelo for two different dates, and i tried different rooms, all amazing!!!
The facility is perfect, with spacious rooms, nice pool with beautiful views, nice restaurants with great food, amazing location, close to all main restaurants like linha d’gu, S7ven, Nice Kriola, Kebra Canela etc.
The staff were very kind and helpful…
They even offer us airport dropout…
Thank You Barcelo… we will be back in December!
