The police office a very unique setup of room accommodation. It is indeed a resort like where you can enjoy a swimming pool during the day and stargazing during the night. Room amenities and decor may look a little bit outdated but still functional and do their purposes. A large space in the room separated into bedroom area, living room with small kitchenette makes staying in the room less crampy. The only thing I found odd in the room was the TV size especially when compared with the room size.
Not too many staff at premises but sufficient to serve you with what you may need. Even with some language barriers, I still have the feeling that they do their best to fulfill your requests as much as they can. This applies to both office staff as well as maintenance gents. Cannot say much about housekeeping as no direct interaction took place so I'd give it a satisfactory level for now.
All in all worth a night. Stay away from business in Bangkok or a quick relaxed stopover for a night while you're waiting for a connecting flight or similar.

This is an older facility in need of updating. There's nothing wrong with it other than it is over priced.
