    Property is located on the main road. Rooms are spacious. Initial allocated room had lock issue & foul smell from bathroom. Upon complaining we were given another room. Room was so big the A/C was insufficient to adequately cool. We lived with it as there was no use reporting it. Secondly first time I saw an A/C with no swing control. Biggest of all the challenge were the fabrication work right outside our room window, drilling & hammering. I had to shout to get it stopped, such s nuisance it was. How could such a property disregard guest comfort, especially in the afternoon during siesta time and allow such work. We had complimentary breakfast which was below average quality. Tried dinner on the arrival day and it was just disaster. Breakfast spread too was far limited. We had all the meals outside and on the day of checkout even skipped breakfast which was complimentary. The biggest of all the issues was language. 90% of the staff spoke only Kannada. Two ladies at the reception were professionals who spoke well and was courteous throughout.

    Stay was exceptionally well. Location was good, right on the Badami-Pattadakal road, midway from the railway station and the Badami caves. Well-behaved staff, room was large and airy. I liked the breakfast here, which I further enjoyed with good live singing. Layout of space is limited by the small resort area, which they cannot help; need some upgrade of the facility, which I think was going on. I liked their treatment with my driver, the washroom facility, and good complementary food offered to him.

    I landed up at the property at 1300 hours. They had no record of my stay claiming there's no electricity since morning. Around 1400 hours they switched on the generator. At 1700 hours I realised there's no water in the washroom. The staff kept on blaming lack of mains for the water pump not working. At 1830 hours the mains electricity came. Still no water. Apparently their water pump had conked off and the staff was not aware. Thereafter they started running around. At 2000 hours in sheer desperation I asked for two buckets of water and freshened up . The water supply was restored around 2100 hours. I would definitely not like to pay 3500 a night for this kind of harassment. Those still keen to stay here may like to check beforehand if water and electricity are available. All the Best.
