Not sure why this place has such good reviews… a windowless box for a room, no safe or locker in the shared room, messy common areas and grimy bathroom, no hospitality.

We really enjoyed staying at Baan Koody! The host was very friendly and kind. You can make yourself at home that's what we felt :)) also nice spot not super close to the beach but you can take the motorbike or walk to the one nearby. Surrounded by the restaurant (esan, Thai, pizza etc.) also not far from the local shop! We had a wonderful, peaceful, and super chill staying there :))

loved my stay here with Patty, she is a great and thoughtful host. i did not rent a bike and she invited me to watch sunset with her friends and go to a bar. she has medicine, water, beach towels, whatever for you to use! i stayed in two other hostels on the island and this was the best by far.
