Close to tram and train, restaurants and Box Hill shopping centre with a cafe next to the entrance of the building. Our room had a washer and dryer as well as large refrigerator and microwave. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Avani has been one of our family favourite place to stay when we are in Melbourne. The place is clean, spacious and have good facilities. The staff is awesome too!

We enjoyed the overall environment of the hotel, including the views and facilities, which were excellent. However, we encountered several issues during our stay that affected our experience. When we checked into the room, we found food debris inside the oven, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned before handover. Although the staff replaced the tray with a cleaner one after we reported it, the service attitude was not very welcoming and no apology was offered. We also noticed crumbs and small pieces of trash on the sofa and on the floor, which further showed that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. On one of the nights, we were unable to access our floor using the lift after 11 p.m. We contacted the staff, and while they came down to assist us, the attitude again was not very friendly and there was no apology. We believe this issue was caused by a problem with the access card. Overall, the hotel has great potential with its beautiful views and good facilities. If the cleanliness standards and staff attitude can be improved, the guest experience would be significantly better.
