Understand that it has some limitations being an older facility. The setting, location and friendliness of staff made up for that

Upon arrival i had to pay extra for deposit and wasnt told anything prior. The woman told me i would receive my deposit back in full as long as i paid for all my stuff with a different card and didnt charge it to the room. I used a different card, they dont accept cash. As i was checking out i was told i was going to pay another fee for no reason, although i was already told i paid all my fees. The restaurant inside are extra and took very long to serve me and my guests, We were the first people in yet last to eat. I suspect it had something to do with my skin color and due to that im younger than they would have expected. I received little to no customer service. Both my guest and I meals were burnt. The place looks amazing but all the hidden fees and weird animosity made my experience not what i expected. The resort itself is cool. The people and fees were ridiculous, especially for only a weekend, with everything already paid for i was still having to come out of pocket for literally nothing. If i hadn't already booked and could gave received my deposit back. I could've utilized that money to actually do something from the fees alone.
