    Ascott Fengyishan is a superb mountain retreat that feels miles away yet is surprisingly close to downtown Shenzhen. Guests consistently praise its serene atmosphere and breathtaking mountain or city views. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped with kitchens, washer-dryers, and modern comforts, making it ideal for long stays. The standout features include a stunning 30th-floor infinity pool, a well-equipped gym, and thoughtful staff who frequently upgrade guests. While the location is slightly remote, it is perfect for a peaceful weekend staycation.

    My stay was delightful, the hotel being tucked into the mountains made it quiet and exactly what I was looking for. Ascott had all the facilities like a full gym, sauna, pool, and large outdoor terrace that over looks the buildings and views of shenzhen where you could lounge, read, and eat at in the mornings. The few things I wanted to do was Defan Oil Painting village, Wutong Mountain Hike, and Shop at UpperHills mall which made it perfect because those 3 things were close to me in distance. The only trade off is the location. It is only accessible by car/didi. The closest MTR subway stop would be quite a walk away so you have to plan to always book a car. ***** On the Agoda app, the location is wrong so please be mindful of that and search it’s actual location!!! ****** The room and hotel itself was very clean and my stay was great!
