This hotel is not particularly near Aomori Station, but still walkable if one's luggage is not too heavy. Otherwise a short taxi ride would be good, which was what we did. The hotel was having some renovation, so the front was partially covered. We did not experience any noise or dust during our stay. The lobby was lovely and the staff members are polite and helpful. We could walk to Nebuta Warasse etc, also the markets and some shrines. Really worth recommending was a great restaurant just round the corner from the hotel - 季ごよみ田園. This restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with both japanese and western dishes. The food was amazing, the cook and his staff are friendly and cheerful. We actually went for dinner, and liked it so much that we returned for lunch the next day. It was located on the 4th floor of a building. Worth mentioning that the building was clean and the toilets too. ART Hotel Aomori, keep up the good work!

The location is bit far from station, it takes about 15 min depends on weather. If it's rain or winter, then i recomend you to take taxi from Aomori station. The breakfast is good , if you love to try something new, then you can try Aomori local food. My room was 12th floor with oseanview for 3 pax. Clean and confy beds.

The air conditioner was covered with mold and dust, which made the room feel unclean and raised concerns about hygiene.
