Excellent service

Suit price with service. The hotel seems family hotel not a company. Direction of sunrise in the morning. Near Dalat center.

worth the price i guess.. the room was big, the bed was hard but it's ok for me. the room was clean.

OK Internet (Wi-Fi). Half way up a hill. A Lao "buffet" ~2 min walk where you can buy breakfast (though not Western breakfast type foods). half way up a hill that, at these temps were fine to walk up on my way back. The "grandmother" who did the cleaning walked-in twice into my room without first knocking, while I was naked (sitting down). You have to manually lock the door as it doesn't lock when you close the door. I finally got an apology from her after I had shown the Google translate of "stop walking into my room without knocking and I don't want any cleaning for the rest of my stay!". Otherwise, they all were pretending like nothing had happened! The next day I found a "do not disturb" card on my door (none was in the room when I checked in). There are several restaurants in the area 1/2 way down the hill, but I kept choosing to walk down to the lake and then back up to the main market area (~15-20 min). If I ever go back to Da Lat, that is the area where I'd stay. In general, I found Da Lat to be a very sleepy little town. Worth a week's visit. The "must" visit for me was the "Crazy House", as it made me feel like little boy again. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for the rest of the day and its memory brings a smile each time. The Summer Palace was OK, too. I have visited waaay too many nature reserves, waterfalls, temples and palaces for anything short of the Elize to make an impression anymore (unfortunately). But if you are new or young and you still like such things, then I know that you'll have a really good time. It would also help if you rent a bike to get around. Something that I refuse to do at my age. Note that the owner's family live there and are all well meaning. I could hear the grandfather (my guess) singing to his little grandchild around 8am every other day (as I was just the next floor up). Note that there is no elevator and no one offered to help carry my bag up the stairs (as the young man at the desk was too busy on his cellphone when I arrived close to midnight). Life. The market was really fun to visit and I enjoyed several meals there on the 2nd floor. Make sure to go and visit all the floors (there are 4, I think) as it is not obvious! Enjoy!
