Amoray Dive Resort completely redefined what a Florida Keys dive vacation should look like. If you are looking for a sterile, corporate high-rise, look elsewhere—this is an authentic, charming, old-school Keys retreat that revolves entirely around exceptional diving and genuine relaxation.
The convenience factor alone makes this place a five-star gem. Waking up, grabbing a fresh cup of coffee, and walking just a few dozen steps directly from your room to the dive boat (the Amoray Diver) without ever touching your car keys is an absolute game-changer. The rooms are spotless, comfortably breezy, and thoughtfully set up for divers, complete with outdoor gear rinse stations and plenty of space to dry equipment.
The dive operation itself is world-class. The captains and divemasters are attentive, deeply knowledgeable about the local reefs and marine sanctuaries, and prioritize safety without ever dampening the fun. We hit gorgeous sites out on Key Largo Dry Rocks and Molasses Reef, and the crew made every entry, surface interval, and gear swap completely seamless. Even between dives, the property feels like an oasis. Lounging on the waterfront deck, watching manatees cruise past the dock, and catching one of the most stunning Gulf-side sunsets I’ve ever witnessed with a cold drink in hand was pure magic.
Every single staff member went out of their way to make us feel like family from day one. Whether you are a seasoned technical diver, newly certified, or simply traveling with a snorkeler, Amoray delivers the ultimate laid-back island vibe with top-tier professionalism. I’m already planning my return trip for next season!

Our room had water sepping up from the floor..nasty..we had to walk on towels for two day, no other room available.
