Very large room,clean,secure parking. Smaller bathroom is my only comment. On bus line to downtown. Many restaurants near by.

I chose this Hotel because it was well situated in an area that I'm familiar and the price was stellar. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the room considering the low cost. It doesn't rival more expensive chain hotels but for a small place it was wonderful. There were a lot of small amenities such as an iron, blow dryer, fresh toothpaste with toothbrushes in sealed container, small bottle hand lotion, hand soap in a wall pump pump as well as sealed bars of soap. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too firm for my liking but that's personal preference. I was going to give the location five stars except for one incident. When I checked in I wanted to open my window and I realized that it slid completely open and there was no securing latch. I called the front desk and asked for a support bar to keep it closed. The gentleman came and there was some type of locking mechanism that he put into place and screwed tight. I was satisfied with this solution and enjoyed my stay. As I Was preparing to leave I decided to open the window to allow fresh air so it was more pleasant for the housekeeping staff when they entered the room. Much to my shock and horror I realized the locking mechanism wasn't working and my window slid open to the full capacity. The parking lot is small and I was on the first floor so it would be easy for someone to enter my room quickly through the window. I was relieved that did not happen and considered not mentioning it. My conscious wouldn't allow it though because future guess could possibly be a victim. I went to the front desk and had the polite but uncomfortable discussion that they should fix it for guest safety and to save them from a liability situation. I was dissatisfied with their explanation of safety measures. The front desk person explained that people tampered with the lock so it didn't work well . I can understand that but he came to my room and gave me the impression that it was Secure . I guess I should trust but verify in the future . Also they explained that There is a locking gate for the parking lot, they have many cameras, and they had some type of large pepper spray canister for emergencies located at the front desk. I pointed out that someone could easily get past the gate and into the room before any type of help could arrive. I wasn't satisfied with their lack concern about this matter but I did my part. To wrap up on a pleasant note, I was very satisfied with my stay. The staff was pleasant and it had the wonderful feel of a small caring business (except for my mentioned safety concrrn). Also the free breakfast was very satisfying with many different choices and hard boiled eggs for a nice protein. I would recommend this location but just check the window.

Booked a room and canceled it 45 minutes later due to wrong location and they didn't refund my money at all. I don't know about you but I don't got $100 to be trowing away like that.
