This hotel was gross & way outdated.
We had one of their “penthouse” king suites, which is a joke. There is nothing penthouse about it except that it was on the top floor. The tile floor was sticky, the tub shower was dirty and stained, the low almond yellow toilet was so old with stains. The bed was comfortable but had a gross fuzzy blanket on it. The carpet seemed clean but it has to be harboring some mold around the in room rose pink jacuzzi tub. The TV was gigantic which was great. Additionally we put the do not disturb sign up & staff still came into our room twice.
Aside from the room, the entire hotel was worn, old & dirty. Lots of peeling wallpaper & stains on the wall.
Outside the top floor elevators there was a ton of water which we assumed was coming from the door to the roof. We told staff and they didn’t do anything about it, no fans or towels. Just let the puddle stand there.
We spent way too much for 2 nights to attend the (eventually) cancelled oceans calling. We knew because of the location we were spending a ridiculous amount for 2 night. But I heard of & read about numerous hotels discounting rates to their standard rate once the festival was cancelled. Not this one.
Overall, gross disappointing hotel that could be nice with a little effort & small renovations. I know our $1,400 - 2 night stay could pay for at least a new toilet & tub, shower liner.

Right on the beach and the boardwalk and a short walk from the beginning of the boardwalk where all the action is. Great restaurants on both the bay side and the sea side are within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The room was located right next to the boardwalk/Beach. The room was clean, beds comfortable with ample space. I've stayed in pricey hotels and the hot water was not always great, here the shower pressure and water was amazing. It was in close proximity to everything.
