    First, let me say that the hotel owner, Paskal, is absolutely amazing — such a kind person. Him and the two receptionists, Kristiana and Dennis, truly made my stay so much better. This was my first solo trip and my first time in Europe, and they made me feel completely safe and comfortable. They’re so generous and always willing to help with anything you need. Their kindness was heartwarming — they even sang me happy birthday on my birthday! Now, about the hotel itself: spotless. The rooms are cleaned every single day — I literally came back once to see housekeeping mopping my floors. I stayed in Room 303, which had a gorgeous sea view. Watching the sunset and sunrise from my balcony was incredible, and it was so peaceful in the mornings. The bed was super comfortable, I had some of the best sleep I’ve ever had. There’s also a safe in the room (mentioning this because I didn’t see it in other reviews). The bathroom was a huge reason I booked this hotel — I’m very picky, and while other hotels had nice rooms, their bathrooms didn’t measure up. Here, everything was spotless: great water pressure, clean sink, toilet, and floors. Plus, the mirror is PERFECT for pictures. The location is ideal: quiet but still very accessible. The promenade is about a 20-minute walk, but it doesn’t feel long because there’s so much to see along the way. There’s also a small beach about 8 minutes away called Secret Beach, and plenty of restaurants and cafés just down the hill. Pro tip: if you’re walking, go down the left side of the hotel where the hill is broken into levels. The right side is one long hill that can feel tougher coming back up. Parking by the hotel is a huge plus since parking in Sarandë can be tricky, and Ksamil is only an 18-minute drive away. Overall, I had an amazing time in Albania, and I truly believe it was mostly thanks to the people running this hotel. If you’re traveling solo, I highly recommend staying here. I’m already planning my trip back next year!!!
