We booked a late trip to Venice in late October, but wanted to stay in a place near the beach at the end of our trip. Being late October, we weren’t guaranteed the weather so wanted to book a place with a heated pool. Almar Jesolo ticked all the boxes. Not only is the pool open in late October but it had different zones and a spa. The main pool is huge, being bigger than an Olympic size pool at 70m! The jacuzzi spa pool has lots of different options with plenty of loungers. On the last day of my stay it was very sunny and around 17 degrees, so was able to lie on a lounger outside. They still have them set up. I can imagine this place being absolutely rammed during peak summer months. Coming this time of year was great as it wasn’t busy at all but still had enough people to give it an atmosphere. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. There is also a turn down service in the rooms at the end of the day. Breakfast was average for a hotel of this calibre. I thought there could have been more hot food options. The hot chocolate is to die for though! I think coming in peak summer months may be a different experience. Get a room with a sea view. It was awesome to wake up to each morning. Highly recommend room 412, being right in the middle with a central sea view. The beach is literally right outside the hotel, but most beach front places were closed at this time of year. Beach is 15km, so great if you want to have a walk along the sea front. I noticed other guests had dogs, so it appears to be pet friendly too. We found a lovely trattoria anout 7 mins walk for dinner called Al Canton which served excellent food and drink for reasonable prices.

This is good hotel but services are not perfect, the management is bad, the staff is great. Restaurant is average due to dirty service, and dirty food preparation. They need a lot of improvement!

Hotel is percect, recpetion and wellcome is great. Service also. The food is great, but for breakfast they can have 3-4 people making omlette for every guest
