Alliance Palace Batumi

Near some fantastic local restaurants, easy access to the beach, arranged tour to Kutaisi and the wineries of Adjara. Our arrival flight was early and they were able to have our room cleaned for an early check in. Spacious room with a balcony and great view of the city.

I had a very disappointing stay at Alliance Palace. The main entrance door was difficult to open and didn’t lock properly, which made the building feel unsafe. The bathroom door couldn’t be opened from the inside, the shower water pressure was extremely weak, and the sink was clogged, causing water to back up. The mattress was very uncomfortable and gave me back pain. The furniture looked cheap and did not match the standard the property advertises. The room was seriously overpriced for what was offered. The bedside lamp didn’t work, the room phone kept making noise, the curtains looked worn and unattractive, and the flooring felt very low quality. To make things worse, the water supply was interrupted during my stay. Overall, this was a failed experience, and I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

First impressions: At reception and in the lobby, there were many people waiting to check in, but the reception staff were polite, respectful, patient, helpful, and hospitable. Every single one of them, without exception, was helpful. There was a young man who spoke Arabic ( *** ), and he was quick and efficient with everyone. His arrangements and handling of the room preparation staff were swift and efficient. He was very helpful. The room was generally new, beautiful, and clean. Room service was quick despite the high volume of guests. For your information: There is no swimming pool belonging to these hotel apartments, as shown on ***, Agoda, and other booking companies. The pool pictured is of the hotel sharing the building, the ***. The view is beautiful. The soundproofing in the rooms is very strong. The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine and a wall-mounted dryer with a heating function for drying a small amount of laundry. The balcony is safe for children, but supervision is necessary as there is a table and chairs on it. The small, very nice kitchenette has everything you need to prepare breakfast or a light meal. There are multiple elevators, so no matter how busy the room is, there are no delays.

The location is near than the beach, 10 min driving to Bulivard . Clean and friendly stuff . Parking is not free ( 3 Lari / hour and up to 45 Lari for full day) .
