    Really good property but communicating with the staff can be challenging. I think they need experience staff to run the property.

    We stayed at this hotel for one night, and it is truly one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything feels brand new, with high-quality renovation and great attention to detail. A special bonus from my husband was the Japanese toilet 😄 Dinner was delicious and presented as a Thai barbecue - just be aware that you need to know how to cook it yourself. Breakfast was filling and quite standard. A lovely extra touch was the dogs living on the property - they made the stay even more special. We arrived by car, and there is convenient parking available. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, always offering help with luggage and happy to assist with any questions. Our room was very quiet, which we really appreciated. Another big plus: the windows have mosquito screens, so you can comfortably open them instead of using only the air conditioner, without worrying about insects. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed - you really feel connected to nature here. The drive to the hotel is a bit long, but it is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended. And on the way, make sure to visit the sheep farm Akha Farmville - it’s a lovely stop!

    We had a wonderful stay at Akano. The drive there is challenging, but its part of the adventure and the arrival is well worth it. Highly recommend a visit for anyone exploring the mountains of Chiang Rai. The food was also great, they took really good care of us.

    This place was such a terrible experience. First of all there are filthy stinking dogs everywhere who will surround you while you eat - the smell made me feel so sick I couldn’t eat. My bed and bathroom were crawling with ants - I couldn’t sleep because ants kept crawling over me. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests. The staff seemed really annoyed that ai had showed up, as it meant they had to stop their video games. Although they hardly stopped staring at their phones the entire time - even when showing me to my room. The place is nothing like the photos - it looks cool and modern but in reality it’s like a rundown ghost town, with dead cockroaches everywhere.
