    Good location with all essential facilities. Comfy mattress and spacious capsule. Super friendly staff and mazing food. Highly recommend the berry smoothie!

    Friendly, helpful and resourceful staff and owner. Check-in was also made really easy thanks to them. Good location in a quiet part of the neighborhood, yet still walking distance to anywhere in Miyagi/Sunabe area, including hangout and party spots and the closer side of American Village. Bike rental available. Mixed dorm was pleasant (neutral woody smell, quiet) although a little hot when the privacy curtain is fully closed. This is probably because the AC cycles (which is a good thing but should be ON for longer). Shared spaces were used respectfully by all tenants during my stay. Kitchenette, showers and bathrooms were all clean and nicely arranged to maximize the available space. The paid laundry area is on the cafe front-facing porch, good design to keep the heat and noise out of the sleeping area. I didn't encounter any issues with noise at night, probably because I came in late each time. Very light sleepers might wake up from the morning music from the cafe.

    Had a very pleasant stay. Id say overall the facilities were satisfactory and the location was good. Few things to note are that the dorm can get VERY hot (my bed was 32 degrees one night!) and there isn't space to lock up belongings.

    This hostel is definitely the perfect place to meet other fellow travelers as everyone is extremely friendly and you can hear the joyous conversations at all times. The only difficult things were the facilities. I've been to other hostels where I didn't have to make my bed (but the bed itself was much more comfortable than other places I was), had black out curtains to ensure restful sleep, personal storage space so I wouldn't have to sleep with my personal belongings and they would be still easily accessible, and shower doors that locked. I also had a bit of an odd feeling walking around in my pjs at night due to the areas outside of my room (the showers and restroom area) being open to both male and females. There are three sinks shared amongst everyone that are also used to cooking, three toilets (one for women only and two for either), and three showers (one for women only and two for either). Again, the feeling and vibes of this hostel are great but if facilities is something important for you as a traveler (it is for me), then you may want to go somewhere else...
