    Cons -the initial hostel dorm I was placed in had an unpleasant order. However my request to move was granted by the staff in a timely manner. -there were inexplicably loud noises from a presumed guest between 3:30-4 AM on my first night of stay. The commotion was loud enough to wake me. -I was not asked for an ID at check in, so who knows if anyone here was. -I have encountered at least a couple of shady characters so far, which is unprecedented and unfortunate. Pros -the facilities are presentable and well kept. -there is an affordable washer/dryer on site. -Koreatown is close to food and transportation -the last time I stood here, the hostel felt safer and I had a significantly better experience. -there are ostensibly functional cameras everywhere, including outside of the room I’m currently in, so I’m optimistic the rest of my stay will be better. 👍
