The rooms were comfotable, stylish and clean, however the guest supplies were stingy,

Good location Comfortable bed with a well-appointed 'old charm' bedroom

The continental breakfast was barely adequate. Cereal provided, but no milk unless you used the mini cartons provided for coffee, and that was only enough for 1 cereal bowl, not 2 Hand soap provided for the sink, but no shower gel It would have been nice if the guest supplies had included a bedtime hot chocolate and biscuit.

An enjoyable stay. It was an advantage to being close to downtown within walking distance.

Surprisingly fun area to visit, super close to the airport, with true hospitality.

The inn is beautiful with unique rooms. It is also in a location filled with shops and restaurants and even a beautiful oceanfront boardwalk. The staff is helpful and very accommodating

This is a quaint, Victorian Inn. It's a very comfortable place to stay. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and offered a spacious bathroom, cozy sitting area and comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was delivered the night before, so we could enjoy it before our early morning departure. The location is great for easy walking access around Sidney We would absolutely stay here again!

Great comfort and location with lots of charm

The room was charming and a good size with a great soaker tub in the ensuite bathroom. Good location for walking to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants. Easy after-hours access and parking in the back.

If you aren't good with stairs, this isn't the place for you. It's a 3 story walk up. We didn't mind this, but some may not be able to manage this (with luggage).

Beautiful place to stay with personalized hospitality.

Everything! Brian was exceedingly hospitable - snacks, tea and coffee set up to enjoy all the time, complimentary sherry in the evening. I arrived before check-in time and he let me stash my bag while I explored Sidney. Very comfy bed and room with all the amenities. Nice soaker tub at the end of a hectic day. Delicious breakfast. Just a beautiful place to stay.

Not the fault of the Beacon Inn, but the taxi service could not guarantee an early morning reservation. It all worked out, but a more certain taxi or shuttle would be helpful.

Great location, but needs some upgrades.

Very spacious and elegant rooms, plus in good central location.

We’ve stayed here many times over the years, but really noticed this time that the mattress seems quite worn out & lumpy, plus the pillows were pretty much flat as pancakes - time to upgrade? Unfortunately the ‘breakfast’ is rather sparse too compared to other places like this. Perhaps bring back the hot breakfast you used to have??

We loved it that it was only a 2 minute walk the the water.

The bed was very comfortable and we liked that thy up grade our room to a little bigger room. It was nice and clean. The staff is friendly.

They don't have sun block out curtains. The breakfast was not what was advertised on the internet.

Lovely place to stay close to airport and would def stay their again.

Old world charm. Very clean. Nice included breakfast. Close walk to oceanfront. Appreciated that staff checked in with us to prepare for our late arrival.

Drive from airport included an annoying set of roundabouts. Not the fault of the property but not fun at night for the first time.

The decor. The place is beautifully appointed. A late afternoon offering of sherry in the lobby was appreciated and a good way to meet other guests. The host Brian was very helpful and friendly.

The boutique atmosphere, the location, clean and a nice breakfast to eat at our leisure. We enjoyed walking around Sidney and the short walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We didn’t realize it was more of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was minimal and not foods of our choice. There were no staff available as we were departing. Expensive for service and food received.

Our breakfast was delicious there was such a variety and the coffee was very good… The location was good because we were close to everything

Although this had nothing to do with where we stayed we just decided that when we come again we need to come on a Saturday because there were some shops that we really wanted to go in and we didn’t realize that some of them are closed Sunday and Monday….. But this did not hamper our stay there we loved every minute of our time in Sydney
