Modified with a robust off grid solar system. Perfect for getting away from the crowds and being self sufficient. If you want to run the AC just plug it into a portable generator or check into your favourite RV park and plug in. Everything else runs off the solar system. At 20ft, it makes the R-Pod easy to tow, handle and park. We used a Toyota Tacoma to tow our R-Pod on our amazing travels around the USA and its handled the R-Pod with ease. SOLAR SYSTEM Installed is a Victron Multi-pass inverter connected to four 100 Amp hour Battle born Lithium Batteries, a Victron Solar controller with two 200 watt solar panels mounted on the roof. FRIDGE Can run on gas cylinders for when you are travelling and free camping and electricity when you are plugged into a portable generator or RV / home mains power or the battery bank. 3 way fridge AIR CONDITIONING The AC contains an Easy-Start module that allows you to run the air conditioner off a generator and or mains power. It can work off the batteries but I recommend plugging in the portable generator for use off grid. It works great. SMALL POP OUT Pull the pop out IN for travel and OUT once you have parked as your holiday destination. This trailer is so spacious when you pop that out, its really maximises its space. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SPEAKERS, TV and ALL REMOTES Yep - its a vibe! ELECTRIC CRANK FOR LIFTING TOW HITCH UP AND DOWN. Yep - at the press of a button. COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED TO HIT THE ROAD High quality wool duvet, duvet cover, sheets, pillow cases, pillows, towels, bath mats, designer cushions, pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, knifes, crockery, storage containers, dish cloths and cleaning accessories. 3 x outdoor chairs, small outdoor table, shade cloth and an Igloo Cooler for drinks. 30AMP power cables, multiple electrical adaptors for every situation you might face. RV water line for connecting to a direct town water source. Funnel for filling up water tanks for off grid travel. Sewer hose for black and grey water, sewer adaptor and gloves. INTERNAL IMPROVEMENTS AND MODIFICATIONS beyond basic factory settings. - The factory dinette and ottomans have been replaced with a custom made convertible couch with wine storage in the backrest. - The cushions are high quality custom made; so you can actually sit there for a few hours and not have the cushions crush down to the hard bottom of the slide-out. - There is storage under the dinette. This cabinet holds the slide in table mounting bracket for the slide in swivel table. - The furnace has been ducted to deliver heat into the main area of the trailer instead of blowing out under the bed. - The bed is a custom Brooklyn Bedding innerspring and memory foam mattress. Very comfortable. - The tv has been replaced with a 12 volt tv that has an integral dvd player. Sound is directed through the factory Jensen stereo. - The wardrobe closet has custom made adjustable shelves; the drawers below have been replaced with full depth drawers. All cabinet drawers and shelves are finished with polly urethane, they are not bare wood. - Large round stainless steel sink with cutting board and pull-out faucet replaced the little square plastic factory sink. - Tile backsplash, custom coffee/tea cabinet on the wall adjacent to the front door. - The drawers below the sink have been replaced with deeper drawers and dividers. - The two under counter storage areas have LED lights and light the interiors when the doors are opened. - The pantry cabinet has adjustable shelving with non slip matts. - We deleted the microwave oven and created more storage space above the refrigerator. - Multiple storage baskets included. EXTERNAL IMPROVEMENTS AND MODIFICATIONS beyond basic factory settings. - Two additional portable Zamp solar charging ports (both front corners, and the passenger side rear) allow you to plug your portable solar panel in the best location to maximise charging. - Power Jack replaces the factory hand-crank jack when loading tow call ON and OFF the car hitch. - Two 5 gallon propane tanks with automatic switch-over regulator. - Sewer hose storage sleeve that holds a standard length sewer hose. - Two-step entry step replaces the factory single step at the entry. Six-inch axle risers replace the factory 3-1/2" risers. - 16", 6-lug Raceline wheels with 16" tires. - Rear access door allows you to get easy access to the large cabinet space below the cooktop. - Rear back-up lights to help you back into your site after dark.
