Also, at a driving distance of around ten minutes from the lake (Limni Vouliagmenis - Heraion Lake), is a village named Perahora, which also has a super market, bakeries, and plenty other of shops.
Even though this is an area of natural beauty and historic value, the distance from Athens Airport is only around 120 klm, and its 35 klm from the city of Corinth.
The main city which is located at around 15 klm from the lake is Loutraki.
