About this cabin rental
Cozy 1-room Bunkhouse has one queen bed and a full/twin bunk bed with enclosed hall way to bathroom which has a vainity area, toilet and shower/tub. Bunkhosue will sleep up to 5 guests. There is a flat-screen TV, Blue-Ray player, and Netflix (no cable or antenna TV). Wi-fi reaches to the Bunkhouse and is also around our main cabin. The kitchenette includes a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, hotplate, dinnerware, as well as a table and chairs. The bunkhouse has a window AC, 2 ceiling fans, and a portable radiant heater for those colder nights. Pets welcome with a fee $60 per pet.
Want to “rough it” but not too rough? Enjoy 5 acres on the Sabinal River just north of Utopia TX. Our cozy 1-room Bunkhouse has one queen bed and a full/twin bunk bed for up to 5 guests. There is a flat-screen TV, Blue-Ray player, and Netflix (no cable or antenna TV). Wi-fi reaches to the Bunkhouse and is also around our main cabin. The kitchenette includes a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, hotplate, dinnerware, as well as a table and chairs. The bunkhouse has a window AC, 2 ceiling fans, and a portable radiant heater for those colder nights. The Bath House is connected to the Bunkhouse via a short ramp, and is just steps away from the Bunkhouse entrance (don’t worry, it is much nicer than an outhouse!)
Relax on the chairs or lounges under the main cabin covered patio. Build a fire in the fire pit in Sherwood Forest while you grill dinner on the wood/charcoal BBQ.
The crystal clear and spring fed Sabinal River is flowing at the southern edge of our property. It is mostly shallow, so it is perfect for kids, but there is a 5 foot deep hole as well. And it is very private.
Enjoy the quiet at night and dark skies for star gazing or watching bats catching their dinner. You may also see axis and whitetail deer crossing through the front part of our property. Hear rustling nearby? It is probably an armadillo. Hawks and owls are also out, so guard your small pets!
