Stayed here for a week during the British Open at Portrush. Very comfortable room, helpful staff and great breakfast. We enjoyed our drive back & forth to the Antrim coast. About a 40 minute drive but easy route. Not much to see in Draperstown, but a quiet place to stay and we really appreciated the excellent restaurant having walked round the golf course in the rain! Lovely glass of wine in the bar! Would recommend as good value and a lovely Irish welcome.

Arriving at hotel we told them we would be cancelling 2 nights as travel from area was difficult..we were told not a problem and could pay in morning..in the morning we were told we had to pay for all 3 nights. Cancellation policy stated would only have to pay for first night and we expected to pay for 2 nights not 3. Not happy !

the stay was great, the Hotel.com bit was not, Hotel.com ask if you want to pay at the hotel and then reserve the money which while not taking does lower the balance and days later still shows against my account and I have paid the hotel as well, fast taking money for a room that was not reserved for me so I arrived and had to wait 2 hours for a room to be made ready all the faulty of Hotel.com not the Hotel who bent over backward to help and sort the problem out effectively took (ish) the money after asking if I wanted to pay the hotel to which I said yes and then not making the reservation with the hotel

The Apparo was a lovely little boutique 3* hotel in the centre of Draperstown. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. Service always with a smile. The rooms was what expect from a 3* hotel with comfortable beds and very clean. The restaurant was also very good for lunch or dinner. The breakfast was very nice although there wasn’t any yogurts or muesli. The cooked breakfast was lovely though. Would definitely stay here again.

Just an overnight stay, and attended the Win Pairing evening. The accommodation is lovely, very clean and quite. Bed was very comfortable. The wine and food where also lovely would recommend to people as a nice little break away from the rat race.

Staff couldn't be more helpful, family room was exceptional with very high quaility furnishings and a lovely personalised breakfast. You feel you are staying in a treetop experience. Shower was very powerful. Visit the International Seamus Heany museum whilst you are there ( 10 mins away) to get a sense of the wonderful Irish poet. A real find in Draperstown.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 night and have to say from arriving until we checked out we were made to feel so welcome. The bedroom was very clean and the bed really comfortable! We had an evening meal at the hotel and the food was delicious and breakfast was equally as good. We will definitely be back.

The address given for the hotel was Magherafelt. We drove there and asked in the Information Centre; we were told that the Apparo was actually in Draperstown, nine miles away and actually on the route we had travelled on to get to Magherafelt. Draperstown had little to offer other than the Apparo !

That was the worse hotel I've ever been in my life. TV wasn't working, the light in the bathroom wasn't working, the phone was out of use therefore to contact the reception I had to use my own phone ! The cleanliness of the room was very low, there was dust everywhere and I wasn't able to open the window. I've reported all these issue to a member of the staff, asking to pass my complaint to the manager. Nobody came back to me to apologise or anything like that. When I've asked to speak to a manager there wasn't one, the only person I could speak to was the chef from the kitchen ! Absolutely shocking ! I never seen something like that in my life. Please do not book this hotel is a waste of money. Not enjoyable stay ! I was very disappointed I would rate this hotel as 2 star no more than that!
