It was the worst experience I've had with booking through the service booking.com Immediately after making the reservation, I received a message in the booking messenger from the owner demanding that I pay for the reservation directly through the link they sent me. And I made the mistake of paying them directly. And of course, a few days later, the booking office charged me the same amount in accordance with the established procedure. I immediately contacted the booking office and the owner. The owner confirmed to me in the booking messenger that there really was a double payment and it was his mistake and that the refund would be made immediately. However, after almost a month, the refund has not been made, the owner only promises to make a refund, and the booking is endlessly checking something. But the most idiotic thing about this whole situation is that we couldn't even move into this apartment, because we simply couldn't find it when we arrived. the coordinates given by the owner are incorrect, no one answers the phone. They communicate only via SMS. The parking lot is located half a kilometer from the square where the apartment should be, which is also not an accommodation with parking. As a result, we rented a hotel room on the move and did not bother to find both parking and this apartment. The issue of the refund remains unresolved to this day. We will contact the police for fraud.

Has the potential to be fabulous

It was very close to the city centre so really handy. The bed was very comfortable. Tim maintained good communication for the majority of the time prior to and during our stay.

The bathroom had a damp smell. The hot water stopped working on our last evening so we were left without showers/baths

Excellent central location, with a great view over the castle. Although near bars and restaurants it was very quiet. Apartment was well maintained and clean with everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect place for an Oxford break

Great hosts - answered all questions ahead of time and were helpful throughout. Flat was in a great location but didn't suffer from noise - a perfect combination.

Sofa bed in the living room was fine for one person for a couple of nights, but an adult might struggle on it for much longer than that.

Location and free parking. Fully equipped Good size apartment for city break.

Due to a bar below the apartment there was a lot of crowd noise and smoking smell which rose upwards. We had to leave the doors and windows open as it's a very warm building so air conditioning would be a good addition to the apartment. The details on the facilities state toiletries provided, however they were just token samples and we had to purchase additional for a 2 day stay. Perhaps do not include in details or provide full size products as just a bit miss leading.

Super comfortable, modern and nice apartment in the heart of Oxford

A modern and nicely decorated flat, location is excellent and windows are good enough in suppressing the noise from the pub below. Staff are very accommodating and helpful, two examples: the fuse broke and we needed to find the switch (difficult to find!), the contact called us on FaceTime and helped out. The other one is that they allowed a late check out which was a great help when travelling with a baby. Definitely recommend!

Great location in centre of town, comfortable and well equipped. Marred by the noise from the pub.

very convenient for the town centre. good, well equipped apartment. nice to have nearby free parking. We were met by a very friendly host who showed us where to park and took us to the apartment.

There were just two problems with our stay. Firstly, it was really difficult to find the correct route to drive to the parking location. The maze of dead end streets and 'access only' roads meant we drove round in circles for a while before we found our host, with her help. If you don't have a satnav (we don't) it would have been really useful to have been given printed instructions on how to approach the apartment/parking. Please do this for future guests, as it will really help them. Secondly, the apartment is above a very noisy weatherspoons pub with a lot of outdoor seating. The warm weather meant we needed the windows open at night, but it was impossible to sleep until we put earplugs in. There is a fan in the apartment, but really the only way of dealing with the noise would be to close the windows and install air conditioning. It was even noisy until late on the Sunday, so clearly the pub attracts a lot of drinkers.

Perfect!

We had a lovely 2 nights for the final part of our honeymoon. There was a slight hiccup on our arrival with House Keeping but this was rectified extremely quickly by Tim & had no impact on our trip. There was a welcome hamper for us which was a lovely touch & went down a treat. The apartment was perfect, in great condition & had all the mod cons required. The location could not have been any better, within the grounds of the Castle & old prison. Having never stayed in Oxford before we did not realise that the shopping complex was there & directly behind the apartment so was perfect for a rainy day of shopping, eating & drinking. We shall definitely be returning. Thank you Tim.

Overall happy with a few minor issues

The apartment was very central, clean and confortable.

We had a few difficulties, due to a broken lock we had to be relocated but only a few doors down the corridor. Unfortunately we later discovered the shower was not working properly but thankfully there was a bath. The staff were quick to respond to our messages.

Perfect place to stay in Oxford

Perfect apartment for a stay in Oxford, easy to drive to but right in the centre. The contact and service was excellent. We were met at the car park and taken to the apartment. The apartment is modern and clean and had everything you would need including some tea, coffee, milk sachets. Small furnished balcony. We loved the Jolly Farmer pub round the corner which has a great beer garden. No food but you can take your own. Highlights were the beautiful park, Christchurch/Cathedral and walking down the river/canal.

Wetherspoons on the ground floor is a bit noisy but it closed at 10pm so it was no problem.

The apartment was in a great location in the centre of Oxford. It was very clean and modern. Tim and his staff who manage the property were very helpful and accommodating.

It was good that we were met at the property and guided there otherwise may have been a little difficult to locate.
