The only flaw is the bathroom located far away from the bedrooms. If the closet in one of the bedrooms can be converted into a bathroom, it would have been perfect.

Beautiful spacious home in Bear Mountain!

Modern and cute. We loved being on Bear Mountain and didn’t mind the drive at all! It was very clean and the owner was easily reached. I thought I packed appropriately but failed. It was nice being able to wash clothes. Huge bonus! We loved the deer! I saw some of the negative comments. None of us had issues with noise nor some of the other rather odd complaints. I forgot to take photos of the bedrooms. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Oasis lives up to its name. It really is a little Oasis, very inviting and cozy. Beautiful views and nice and quiet.

The unit was large with lots of room for family to come visit.

The noise carried through the floors. You could hear the family upstairs. It was quite loud. The shower head would not stay in place, kept falling.

Spacious and comfortable

Oasis is very spacious& comfortable. the Wifi is excellent. Hosts are friendly & quick to respond. We appreciated the bbq, the washer dryer combo, (with soap) and adjacent on street parking. It is as described, a lower level walkout, down a set of outdoor stairs, looks out on a forested area. 20-25 km from downtown Victoria in a suburb. We would book Oasis again.

Nothing that we didn’t like, but would suggest softer kitchen lighting for the evening, robe hooks in the bathroom.

It’s very spacious, comfortable and clean. There is also plenty of parking at the front of the house.

Since you’re down in the basement/lower level of the house it’s pretty noisy and you can hear everyone’s footsteps above. When we came back from sightseeing to relax, there was loud drilling that went on one of the nights we were trying to sleep around 9:30-10 PM. Aside from the noise everything else was good.

The oven had been sprayed with oven cleaner and not wiped out, so I had to clean that before I cooked. One of the pans I cooked my food in was dirty and I had to wash it. 😔

Basement of a family house in the middle of nowhere

We've had two main issues with this property. One was that it's basically misinterpreted at Booking.com - the property is NOT the building which is on the title photo. It's a basement only (which is not visible on the title photo at all). Also the confirmation says "1 villa" as a room type, which is not true, you don't get a whole house, only the basement. I don't see any mention that what you are renting is just a basement anywhere in the description. Second issue is that even though the description says only "This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties." in reality there are signs in every single room that say "Keep silence! Be quiet!" in English and Chinese. Since we were travelling with a small baby which naturally sometimes cries in the night, these signs made us feel very unwelcome, even though we had no parties. What stands out for me among other minor issues is that this building is in the middle of nowhere, there is no store or anything nearby. We had to walk 6 kilometres to do basic shopping. We will not come back to this property.

Fab five

Oasis is very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and wanted. Kitchen was well stocked. TV is very high tech and has all the apps we wanted (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) Wifi is very strong. Issues of concern readily resolved by our host. Lots of privacy and safe. Thank you for a fabulous five days!

Beds are too high for older customers. Wanted more pillows than one. Late afternoon noise from upstairs. Been resolved.

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Wohnung ist riesig. Wir hatten mit 4 Personen sehr viel Platz. Die Küche ist prima eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Vorort von Victoria und typisch kanadischen Wohngebiet. Das Bad ist auch sehr geräumig. Man fährt bis City Victoria ca. 20 Minuten auf dem Highway.
